Explore projectThe problems we solve
An app should earn its place.
Too many features, no clear first release.
We prioritize the journeys people need most, then separate launch essentials from later possibilities.
Complex tasks on a small screen.
We prototype interactions early and make each step understandable without overwhelming the interface.
An app disconnected from the business.
We design the supporting data and administration alongside the customer-facing experience.
How we work
From a useful idea to a usable product.
- 01
Choose the core journey
Agree who the app serves, the problem it solves and the constraints around devices and connectivity.
- 02
Prototype in context
Review the main flows at phone size, including onboarding, interruptions and empty states.
- 03
Build both sides
Develop the app with its APIs, accounts, administration and agreed integrations.
- 04
Prepare the release
Check supported devices, store requirements and handover. Agree how feedback informs the next release.
Before we begin
Good questions.
How do we choose native or cross-platform development?
We offer native and cross-platform development. A shared implementation can reduce duplicated work across iOS and Android; native development may be appropriate when platform-specific interaction or device integration is central. We compare device features, background activity, offline needs, maintenance and the release plan before choosing. The backend, administration and third-party services are scoped separately rather than assumed.
What affects an app’s cost and release date?
User roles, screens, backend scope, third-party integrations, offline behavior and device testing all affect the estimate. Content readiness and access to Apple and Google developer accounts also matter. Store review is outside Ignite’s control, so a submission date is not a guaranteed approval date.
Should we build an app or a mobile website?
Start with the task and frequency of use. Device capabilities, notifications and repeat visits may justify an app; a mobile website can be the better fit for broader, occasional access.
Will the app need a backend?
Many apps do. Accounts, shared data, notifications and administration usually require supporting services. We define those needs as part of the product scope.
Who owns the app and the store accounts?
Ownership, source-code handover, third-party licences and ongoing responsibilities are agreed in the contract. We recommend client-controlled Apple and Google developer accounts, with the access needed for delivery. Publishing scope covers the agreed store assets, privacy information, builds and submission support. Platform review is outside our control; maintenance and future operating-system updates need an agreed plan.
